Obituary:
Jane Barbar (nee Tuzeneu), 91 of Wall passed away Tuesday February 15 at Ocean Medical Center, Brick with her family by her side. Jane was born in Belmar and a longtime resident of the shore area. She was a teacher at Fort Hancock, Sandy Hook. There she taught the GI’s for their GED. She was also a supervisor for AT&T in Freehold and Neptune. Jane was very active with the AT&T Pioneers. She ran for Councilwoman in Matawan and was an award winning artist and an avid traveler. Jane traveled to Alaska with her son and to Europe with her daughter. She loved her family.

Jane is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Guy and Karen Barbagelata of Wall and a daughter Gayle Barbar of Brielle. She is also survived by two brothers Walter Tuzeneu of West Long Branch and Robert Tuzeneu and his wife Lynn of Neptune; a sister Dale Rice and her husband Jon of Redondo Beach, CA and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to call Friday Feb. 18 from 5-8 pm at Orender Family Home for Funerals 2643 Old Bridge Road, Manasquan. A funeral service will be held 10 am Saturday Feb 19 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Atlantic View Cemetery, Manasquan. It was our pleasure to meet your mother at Guy and Karen's wedding and also see her several times later as well. She was a lovely, classy lady and I could tell she enjoyed life. You have treated her so well and looked after her so carefully. our sympathies are with you - Sue and Aicardo, Madison WI
