Obituary:
Lynn Clarke, 69 of Whiting formerly of Parlin passed away Tuesday September 6 at St, Barnabas Palliative Care Center, Long Branch, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Lynn was born and raised on Staten Island, NY. She graduated from Curtis High School and worked for JP Morgan in Edison, NJ for over 30 years. Lynn moved to Morgan,New Jersey in 1971 and resided in Parlin, NJ before moving to Whiting in 2007. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

Lynn was predeceased by her husband John S. Clarke in 2004. She is survived by two sons and their spouses, Dennis and Dawne Clarke of Staten Island, NY and Raymond and Megan Clarke of Shrewsbury, NJ; three daughters and a son-in-law, Kathleen Clarke of Easton, PA, Jennifer and Christopher Metz of Old Bridge, NJ and Jaime Clarke of Whiting, NJ. Lynn also is survived by seven grandchildren, John, Jessica, Madison, Taylor, Emily, Patrick and Erin; a brother William Heyer of Waretown, NJ and a sister Susan Ferraioli of Staten Island, NY.

Relatives and friends are invited to call Thursday September 8 from 6-9 pm at Orender Family Home for Funerals, 2643 Old Bridge Road, Manasquan, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 8:30 am Friday September 9 at St. Mark’s Church, 215 Crescent Parkway, Sea Girt, NJ. Interment will follow at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be sent to St. Jude’s Children’sRresearch Hospital, 332 N. Lauderdale, Memphis, TN 38105. My deepest condolences are being extended to Aunt Lynn's entire family. Her loss will be felt by all who had the great opportunity to know her.
