Donald T Corson, Jr. - age: 55

Corson, Jr. (Donnie) 55 of Wall passed away at his father’s beloved farm Clover Hill Farm, Allenwood with his family by his side. Donnie fought a 3 ½ year courageous battle with brain cancer. He was born in Neptune and was a lifelong resident of Wall Township. Donnie was a 1974 graduate of Wall HS. He has always worked alongside his father and was the foreman for his father’s construction business Don Corson Construction Company, Allenwood. In his spare time Donnie enjoyed boating, golfing, volleyball and softball. Donnie’s favorite past-time was spending time with his family and watching his children play various sports. His wife said that he was the most incredible husband, father, brother and son. Donnie was predeceased by his mother Phyllis in 1992. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 23 years, Barbara A. Corson, his two children Jaclyn Corson and Donnie T. Corson III all of Wall. Donnie is also survived by his father and former Mayor of Wall Township, Donald T. Corson, Sr. and his wife Barbara of Allenwood; two sisters and their spouses Lisa and Michael Ruggiero of Freehold and Lori and Walter Weber of Wall; two brothers and their spouses Scott and Maria Dempsey of Charleston, SC and Bryan and Michelle Dempsey of Allenwood; his mother-in-law Elizabeth Kuechle of Bradley Beach; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to call Wednesday January 4 from 2-8 pm at Orender Family Home for Funerals, 2643 Old Bridge Road Manasquan. A Funeral Service will be 10 am Thursday January 5 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Manasquan. Interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Brielle. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Wall Community First Aid, PO Box 166 Allenwood, NJ. To the family of Don Corson, Jr., Please accept the prayers and condolences of the entire Wall family for your recent loss of Don. As Don was my WHS classmate ('74), he was a truly great friend that I lost contact with some years ago. Our common bond was the fact we shared the same birthday, and, we never forgot that. Over the last 40 years, Don was with me in thought every June 4th. I could not have had a better friend to share that day with. I'm saddened by Don's passing, but, I'll keep him always in my thoughts and prayers. May the Lord accept Don into his Kingdom while keeping watch over his family during the time of loss. We are so sorry to hear of Donnie's passing. He was a big part of my growing up. Though we hadn't seen each other much as adults, each time we did the years disappeared. One thing we've learned for a time like this is the importance of friends and family, the the Corson clan has that covered. Donnie, you will be missed. Donnie's family, you will continue to be loved. We grieve with you all and regularly remember you in prayer, looking at your pictures as reminders, though we are far away.
Memories of Donnie as a youngster and young man in your family and a member of the youth group at the Allenwood Church
