Alice, I am very saddened by Charlie's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the rest of his family. Charlie was definetly a "one of a kind". I will always remember the great times we had at KDC and TEP functions. You guys were a great couple. I still remember some of the jokes that Charlie and you played on us. I know that Charlie was a devoted husband, father and friend. As a teacher, Charlie, was truely devoted to his kids. I remember a video he shot with the desks moving into a room. That was typical of Charlie---making learning fun. He will be missed.

Dear Alice, Charley Boy, Johnny and Mikey, We are so very sorry to hear of Charley's passing. I knew Charley for almost 50 years. We met at St. Francis Prep in Brooklyn and instantly formed a bond through our music and became best friends. We spent countless hours together singing and laughing and enjoying each other's company. We sang as "Eddie & The Emeralds" and Charley was so proud of our group. We used to sing anytime, anyplace and stayed together until the early 70s. We lost touch with 2 of the group members but Charley and I kept in touch all these years. We visted each other's homes and had fabulous times with our families staying up to the early morning hours just reminiscing and laughing till we cried. I regret I hadn't been in touch with Charley for a while and that I could not make it up there for the services. I wish I could have spoken to him one more time just to hear his voice and share some of our stupid jokes together. I will miss him very very much. Charley had many great attributes but the thing I will remember about him most is his unique sense of humor. No one could make me laugh the way Charley did. I will never forget him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Love, Jim & Maureen

Dear Alice and family, My heart goes out to all of you for your loss of a loving husband and a great father!Charley was so special to me and I will never forget him, we shared many years together in a classroom, His love of the kids was so inspiring, his ways with them were not always conventional, but he always knew what every child needed! He was so proud of his sons, he always was beaming when sharing stories of them as they grew up, We shared good times and sad times in our classroom together, we had a special bond of friendship. We had many a good time together through the years, but I so enjoyed it when he sang, his voice was so "angelic"! He would stop by "Jacks "every so often and we would get him up to sing for us! When he sang a song everyone stopped to watch him! Jack and I will miss him but we will never forget him!Love you all, Joan and Jack

Dearest Alice, Charley Boy, John & Mikey, I am so deeply sorry to hear of Charlie's passing. My heartfelt thoughts & prayers are with you all at this time. I loved Charlies (long-winded stories), & how we teased him so much, every time he started to tell us one. You are a very special family. Hold on to one another for strength & love. Dear Alice, and family, Was so saddened to hear of Charley's passing. Working with him at school for so many years was my introduction to "Jersey Dream"...a group that Donnie and I followed and enjoyed for many years! I will always remember Charley coming to any party we had with his "booka" in hand, ready to sing, party, and just enjoy the evening! Have comfort knowing that there's an acappella group in heaven, and Charley's singing his heart out! He's smiling down on you with that beautiful smile, singing, and partying with the best of them! I am so happy that he was able to make the retirement party and see "old friends" from Wall Intermediate a few weeks ago. Know that he will be missed but his memory will be kept alive with all the stories that his family and friends will share for years to come. Alice, sorry I won't be able to make the service, I will be out of town, leaving in the morning. God Bless. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Love, Carol & Don Imbriaco
