(December 12, 1961 to August 10, 2010 ) Resident of Point Pleasant, New Jersey Visitation Information: Visitation August 13 Friday 5-8 pm Mass of Christian Burial August 14 Saturday 10:30 am at St. Martha's Church, Point Pleasant Interment will be private Obituary: Patrick D. Burke, 48 of Point Pleasant passed away at his home Tuesday, August 10. Patrick was born in Point Pleasant and raised in Spring Lake Heights and moved to Point Pleasant 20 years ago. He graduated from Manasquan High School in 1980. Patrick worked in commercial construction and was a member of the Carpenter Local 2250, Red Bank. He loved boating, boat racing and was an avid Miami Dolphins fan. Patrick was a communicant of St. Martha’s Church, Point Pleasant. Patrick was predeceased by his parents William Burke in 1974 and Dororthy Burke in 1986. He is survived by his wife Patty Burke and two children Heather and Brittany Huff all of Point Pleasant; three brothers and their spouses, Billy Burke of Wall, Jay and Linda Burke of Brielle and Michael and Denean Burke of Wall; a sister and her spouse Mary Carol and Chris Pirl of Point Pleasant Beach. Patrick is also survived by his in-laws, Louise and Hank Monteforte of Point Pleasant and two sister-in-laws and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to call, Friday August 13 from 5-8 pm at Orender Family Home for Funerals, 2643 Old Bridge Road, Manasquan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Martha’s Church Point Pleasant at 10:30 am Saturday August 14. Interment will be private.
